Q1. Do I need my own bike?

A. No, we have bikes for hire to suit the course you choose. You are of course welcome to bring your own.

Q2. What experience do I need?

A. None, but it helps if you can ride a push-bike and have read the current Highway Code. We will help you decide which course will suit you no matter what your experience.

Q3. Which course will be suitable for me?

A. Well, it depends, why not try an hours assessment and be advised by our Instructors, or e-mail us with your biking experience and we'll get right back to you with some help.

Q4. How much are the courses?

A. Very reasonable, use our contact form to enquire about current pricing.

Q5. Will I need special clothing?

A. No, we can provide all the equipment you will require from top to toe.

Q6. Where can I find you?

A. The training takes place at our training center at Unit 4, 8 Boundary Road Ayr. Situated on the southwest coast of Scotland, Ayr is approximately 36 miles South of Glasgow and 22 miles North of Girvan.

Q7. Does the course get cancelled for bad weather?

A. Weather is something that we cannot control but we always assess condition prior to training. If training has to be postponed then all students will be notified asap, rescheduled dates will be agreed.

Q8. What if I fail the test?

A. We have an extremely high first time pass rate and in the unlikely event of being unsucessful we will help you understand what went wrong, and do our best to make sure you pass next time.

Q9. Do I need to do a theory test?

A. YES - as from February 1st 2001 everybody needs to have passed a Motorcycle Theory Test before they can take the Practical Part II test.

Have your Driving Licence number ready and a credit card for payment.
Locally tests can be taken in Ayr and Kilmarnock.

Q10. What do I need to bring with me?

A. Yourself and your licence, both card and paper counterpart.
If using your own bike - MOT and Insurance Certificate
For test day - photographic identification i.e.. Passport if you have a old style licence.
A packed lunch is also recommended during your CBT course.
